Founded on Ambition
Schembri Property Management was founded in 2001 by Gordon Schembri with a straightforward vision: to provide quality rental housing managed with care, accountability, and genuine pride of ownership. What began as a modest operation grew steadily over the following two decades into one of Waterloo’s most recognized residential property management companies — a portfolio built property by property, relationship by relationship.
That growth was never accidental. It was the result of a team that showed up, listened, and held itself to a higher standard — even when no one was watching.
Where We Are Today
In 2024, Schembri Property Management made a deliberate decision: to step back from scale and double down on excellence. Today, we own and operate exclusively at 275 Larch Street, Waterloo — a vibrant residential community that has become a popular destination for students and young professionals in the heart of the city.
This focused approach means every decision we make, every maintenance request we respond to, and every new resident we welcome receives our full attention. No divided priorities.
