- Keep windows closed and locked. This helps keep your suite warm and prevents condensation from building up.
- Don’t block heaters or vents. Give them space so your apartment warms evenly.
- Use entry mats. Snow and salt can make floors slippery and damage flooring—wipe your boots before coming in.
- Walkways. Be careful when stepping outside after fresh snowfall.
- Watch your step. Walkways and parking lots can be icy, especially when heading to class or work in the morning.
